Information

I started teaching guitar in 2005 when a member of the audience asked for lessons! It’s been my full-time income since 2007, during which time I’ve taught for companies and music services including Lick Library, Guitar Interactive Magazine, the International Guitar Foundation (IGF), Ministry of Guitar, the Canned Performance Company, Key to Music, and Dorset Music Service.

My most prominent role as a teacher was the 11 years I spent on the staff of The Rhythm Studio in Kensal Rise, joining the school in 2008 as one of the first guitar teachers hired and leaving it in 2019 as a senior member of the faculty when it had long-since expanded to 8 fully-booked rooms and partnered with Kensington & Chelsea College to offer BTEC qualifications.

During my time there I worked with a huge range of students, both in-terms of age and ability, and taught a huge variety of different classes. After building my own teaching business I’m now exclusively offering my services as one of the most experienced private music teachers in North West London.
